If you've been considering picking up Work Wide for your device but have decided to wait and see what the long awaited v1.3 will bring, you might want to reconsider. As announced on Twitter, Work Wide v1.3 is entering private beta next week with release to follow shortly after that barring any unforeseen problems, but v1.3 will also bring something else – a price increase.
Right now, Work Wide is available from BlackBerry World for $2.99 but once v1.3 is released, that price will increase to $3.99 for all new users who are wishing to use the app. So, if you've been on the fence about purchasing Work Wide, right now is the best time to do so unless you want to pay more. Not that the developers don't deserve that extra $1.00 but you know, we all like to save money.
