After a few weeks of silence on the beta front, WhatsApp users now have a new version available for download via the BlackBerry Beta Zone. According to the changelog, there are several fixes in this build with some special attention given to those of you out there running BlackBerry OS 10.3.2.
- For users on OS 10.3.2, WhatsApp is now capable of reading Facebook contacts from your system address book! This should resolve a large number of the missing contacts issues.
- Fixed - Unanswered incoming calls sometimes didn't show a missed call popup.
- Fixed - First message of a new conversation would take too long to appear after sending
- Miscellaneous fixes and updates
The update is appearing now through the BlackBerry Beta Zone app, so if you don't mind doing some beta testing, go ahead and get it downloaded. Just remember, it's a beta so be sure to offer up feedback.

WAA Fixer corrects media sending problems on WhatsApp
With WhatsApp discontinuing their support for all versions of BlackBerry OS, including BlackBerry 10, by the end of 2016, many have tried running the Android version of the app on BlackBerry 10 only to find it has some issues as well.
