It's not often I sit down and play games but when I saw the above trailer for Troubles Land from the newly founded Espoo based game studio Enksoft, I had to give it a go. I've always been a platformer game fan, and Troubles Land fits right in there and better yet, delivers on its promise of being 'amazing and extensive' thanks to its hand-drawn artwork and great music soundtrack. For $0.99, you get 30 levels of awesome gameplay and seven different characters to play through as, extending the replay value of Troubles Land.
When lands are in trouble heroes shall always arise, Join our seven heroes on their journey through a very dangerous world to save or even dominate that land. A journey that will take your breathe away with mystery, challenges and fun.
Features:
- More than 30 levels of extraordinary gameplay that will hook you for tens of hours.
- Seven Heroes to choose from.
- Amazing Hand-drawn Art and Music.
- Epic Boss Battles
My biggest qualm with Troubles Land is the limited device support. For whatever reason, the developers have only made it available for the BlackBerry Z10, BlackBerry Z3, BlackBerry Z30 as well as the Porsche Design P'9982 and Porsche Design P'9983 but as long as you have one of those devices, you're all set.
UPDATE - I reach out to ENKSoft and asked for additional device support. They quickly responded and noted they have now added Q10 and Passport support. It might take a bit to filter through BlackBerry World but it will appear shortly. Gotta love responsive developers! Thanks ENKSoft!

Brain Coach - Have you got the skills to beat it?
Even if your initial thoughts are that playing Brain Coach is not your thing, you may well be surprised. We've seen one or two BlackBerry 10 games that are designed to test your brain, and this one does it better than the others I've previously tried. And just to confirm the quality of Brain Coach, it comes from Inspiro Software - if you're into fitness, you may well use his very...
Race your way to top with Top Speed: Drag & Fast Racing
While there may be quite a few car racing games available in the storefront, there is always room for one more, at least in my opinion. The latest release from Thunderbull Entertainment is certainly a drag racing game filled with action, stunning visuals, and customization. As someone who spent the better part of her youth playing racing games, albeit with those clunky wheel attachments...
