When the official TimmyMe app launched on BlackBerry it really wasn't an attractive app. Now though, loyal Tim Hortons fans who are also BlackBerry users have an updated version of the app to turn to which quite honestly -- is one of the better looking BlackBerry apps I've seen lately. In addition to the UI updates, they've also added quite a few new features to the mix:
Restaurant Finder
- Find the 10 closest Tim Hortons restaurants to your current location using your built-in GPS or search for restaurants by typing in a location
- View restaurant details including amenities (drive thru, accepts Tim Card®, in-restaurant seating, etc.) and filter search results by amenities
- Get driving directions to Tim Hortons locations
Tim Card® Balance Check
- Check the balance of your Tim Card®
- Nickname and save up to 5 cards in the app for easy access
Nutrition Info
- Get all the nutritional information for any Tim Hortons menu item
Order Notepad
- Keep track of your family and friends’ favourite orders
That's a pretty long list of features considering it's an app that helps you find coffee but hey -- some people just got to have their Timmys. Also, it's no longer just a Canadian thing. Tim Hortons coffee shops have been popping up all over the US as of late, 500+ locations actually and as such the TimmyMe app will help you find US locations as well.
