If for some strange reason you're still using the Tim Hortons TimmyMe app on BlackBerry 10, you'll want to make sure you move any remaining balance you may have on your account. That's because the app, as a whole, is being discontinued as of May 31, 2018, in favor of the new Tim Hortons mobile app.

Dear TimmyMe app user,

We wanted to remind you about the upcoming changes for the TimmyMe app. As you may know, we launched a new Tim Hortons Mobile App last year featuring mobile order and pay at more than 3,500 Restaurants across North America.

As our new Mobile App offers our latest digital Guest experience, we will be discontinuing the TimmyMe app on May 31, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. E.T. Our new Mobile App supports payment by standard credit cards, TimCard, and includes a feature that allows you to easily transfer funds from your existing TimmyMe account.

Before the TimmyMe app is discontinued on May 31, 2018, there are a few things you need to know:

  • If the TimmyMe app is already installed on your device, you can continue to use it until May 31, 2018, 11:59 p.m. E.T.
  • The TimmyMe app will no longer be available for download This means you will be unable to reinstall it on your device, should you delete it.
  • If you are unable to access your TimmyMe app on your device, but wish to view or access your account balance, please click here and visit the TimmyMe section of the FAQ for more information about managing your account.
  • If you already have the TimmyMe app on your device, you will still be able to view and access your account balance after it has been discontinued. However, we encourage you to download the new Tim Hortons Mobile App and transfer your balance to it before May 31, 2018, for a smooth transition to our latest digital Guest experience.

Truth be told, the TimmyMe app hasn't worked properly on BlackBerry 10 for a while but just I figured this was still worth noting since some folks might still have funds tied up in the account. As for a replacement app, the suggestion of using the new app won't work so well for BlackBerry 10 users since it only supports Android and iOS. I suppose you can try the APK on BlackBerry 10 but if it's like most apps these days, it will require some patching in order to work.
