Labyrinth style games are among my favorite pick up and go games. They're fun, easy to get into and quite challenging at times. A new twist on the old style games in now available for the BlackBerry PlayBook from Union and 1337 Game Design and I'm sure to lose a few hours playing it.

Dark Nebula: Episode One will have you tilting your PlayBook furiously all in an effort to avoid dangerous traps, dodge bullets and cheat death in every corner. This isn't your tyipcal Labyrinth game, it's next level business here with awesome graphics.

Although Bullet Time has been rumored as coming to the BlackBerry PlayBook since April, it has now finally arrived and has already risen up the BlackBerry App World charts into the #2 downloaded game slot.

If you're not familiar with the game, Bullet Time is set in a post-apoclyptic world where you play John Irish who has to blast his way through mutants using a ton of awesome weapons to help save his family. In other words, you get to blow things up and it's hella fun.

Recently, Madfinger and Union delivered one of their hot titles to the BlackBerry PlayBook, ShadowGun. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I think ShadowGun is the best graphical game currently on the BlackBerry PlayBook. Sorry Dead Space, but you had your fun. If side scrolling action games are your thing, you'll want to give Major Mayhem a look. Union and Adult Swim have unleashed the Major onto the BlackBerry PlayBook and made sure the game was packed to the max with plenty of levels, weapons and most importantly, action.

In total, the game features over 45 levels to play through as you embark on a mission to rescue your kidnapped girlfriend from the Forces of Evil. Union has set the game at $2.99 and if you're up to the challenge, you download it from the link below.

Shadowgun for the BlackBerry PlayBook now available for free

If you tuned into the BlackBerry Jam Americas keynote, then you likely saw the demo of Shadowgun being run on the screens. Now, the game has been released into BlackBerry App World and best of all, it's available as a free download. If you're big on third-person shooters, this will be one you want to add to your collection:
