Now that AT&T has had its acquisition of DirecTV approved by the FCC, the US carrier has cemented plans on offering new bundles, providing customers with a selection of TV and wireless packaged plans. These new packages start from $50 a month, but you'll be able to grab a $10 discount if combining a new plan with a wireless subscription.

The FCC has voted to approve AT&T's acquisition of DirecTV, just a few days after FCC chairman Tom Wheeler recommended the commission do just that. In its approval statement, however, the FCC has outlined some conditions to which AT&T had to agree in order to receive approval.

FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler has officially come out in support of AT&T's proposed $49 billion acquisition of DirecTV, recommending that the regulatory commission approve the deal. However, in order for the deal to go through, Wheeler is asking AT&T to agree to some conditions, including stricter net neutrality requirements.
