Want a slim case for your BlackBerry PlayBook? Give the Body Glove Stripes case a try

Body:

BlackBerry PlayBook itself is a pretty sturdy device but there will be times I like to put a case on it. More so because I'm a huge klutz and prone to dropping it more times than I would like. While I'd like a strong protective case, these can sometimes add too much bulk and weight that I'll eventually return to using a naked PlayBook. However, I came across the Body Glove Stripes case for the BlackBerry PlayBook that seems to give me solid protection while keeping things slim. Follow me after the break for a full rundown of the case.

CASE-MATE Barely There PlayBook case
I love the size and slim profile of the BlackBerry PlayBook. Why cover it all up to add some drop protection all the time? A few months ago I was on the lookout for a thin case to use around the house or office. I didn't need the extreme protection some cases had to offer and didn't want to spend a lot either. I have used Case-Mate products on my BlackBerry devices for years, and they hold up very well, well enough to try their brand on my BlackBerry Playbook. Check out the video after the break for a full in depth review of one of the thinnest cases out there for your PlayBook.

BlackBerry Journal Case

When it comes to selecting a case for my devices you could say that I am overly picky, and generally it is quite hard to satisfy my needs. Over the years of owning various devices my case collection has grown larger than I will admit to anyone, and most of them have only seen use on a device for a few days at best. When I first got my BlackBerry PlayBook the sleeve that was included in the box was good enough for me, but shortly after the fact that changed. After spending some time and looking at all the various options available for purchase there was one case that stood out and it needed to be tested. The BlackBerry Journal case for the BlackBerry PlayBook appeared to be the perfect case for my needs, so obviously it had to be put through the paces to see if it could hold up. So, is it possible that this is the perfect case? Let's hit the break and give this case a full walkthrough.

First Look: Trexta Built for BlackBerry 2012 Case Collection

Body:

Trexta PlayBook Cases

Going around the convention floor I've been seeing some awesome BlackBerry cases from different manufacturers. What struck my eye though was the unveiling of Trexta's new 2012 line of accessories for the new OS 7 devices and BlackBerry tablet. They are rolling out not one, not two, but five different types of cases for the new Bold 9900/30, Torch 9850/60, and Curve 9350/60/70. These are awesome cases that not only show off your sense of style (they come in a variety of colors to suit your tastes) but offer solid protection as well. More importantly they all come with the never leave home without magnet sleeper function. When trying out these cases the first thing I noticed was how solid they were and and how well they fit in your hands. They may look shiny but they are not slippery or bulky at all. These are well designed cases and a hands-on review of one of these babies is on the way. Click on the jump for more information.

TAB Rests
No matter what kind of tablet you use, holding one for an extended period of time while playing games, reading, watching movies, or web browsing will make your arms tired. And typing out long emails can prove difficult if you're using one hand to hold the tablet and typing with the other, but laying the tablet down flat on your lap or table isn't much better.
