BlackBerry Neon / DTEK50 appears in new images

Fresh off the BlackBerry servers, where it appears as though someone slipped up and let a portion of the site go live for a short period of time, is a new image of BlackBerry's second Android-powered smartphone, more commonly known as 'Neon' or as FCC documents note it as, the DTEK50. To go along with the single image of the device, the specifications page also went live for a short period, detailing what has been rumored for a while.

UPDATE - Additional variations have also appeared showing the marketing name once again as DTEK 50. You can view those FCC documents here.

When BlackBerry's Chief Operating Officer Marty Beard noted to us that BlackBerry's next handset release is "very, very imminent," he wasn't joking as a recent filing at the FCC appears to show. Documents dated July 14, have now appeared in the FCC database that match up with the previous findings from the Wi-Fi Alliance that show BlackBerry and TCL / Alcatel are working together to release a smartphone.
