Continuing their Android efforts after the BlackBerry Priv and the DTEK50, BlackBerry has now announced their latest Android smartphone known as the DTEK60. An all-touch higher-end device, the DTEK60 leverages the partnership with TCL/Alcatel and as such is similar to that of the TCL950 with some small key changes.
BlackBerry has now officially announced the latest in its series of secure Android smartphones, DTEK60. Offering a larger high-resolution display, fingerprint sensor, long lasting battery, 21-megapixel camera, DTEK60 comes loaded with all the security features that BlackBerry's Android OS devices have.
Staples Canada just can't seem to keep the DTEK60 under wraps. After the initial listing for the device was removed, it has now once again returned to Staples Canada website and is available for pre-order despite having yet been made official by BlackBerry.

Europe's largest retailer of consumer electronics will be offering the DTEK60 according to a freshly leaked ad. As expected, the ad highlights the specs of the DTEK60 such as the Snapdragon 820 processor, the 21MP and 8MP camera as well as the 32GB of internal storage, fingerprint sensor and the USB-C port and finally, the quad HD display.
Another day, another BlackBerry DTEK60 spotting. This time around, the folks at Staples Canada have now listed the still unannounced officially BlackBerry DTEK60 to their website. Unlike previous listings, though, Staples is not taking any pre-orders for the device. Instead, they just place it out of stock online and left the $699.99 price tag there for all to see.
Although the DTEK60 still remains unofficially announced by BlackBerry, that hasn't stopped retailers from putting the device up for pre-order. The latest comes from B&H Photo who now has the unlocked Android-powered DTEK60 available for $499.99.
