It looks like advertising isn't the only way way to fund your favorite sites anymore. Google announced a new program called Contributor today that allows people to contribute money to participating websites via a monthly subscription to get rid of ads.

Lame Samsung commercial tries to make inroad to enterprise by riding on magical unicorns

Samsung Mobile got some attention this weekend for a new commercial they're running which attacks BlackBerry in an attempt to position their Galaxy devices as enterprise friendly. The commercial is a little odd and lame. The YouTube viewer comments has for the majority been ripping the ad a new one.

With BlackBerry 10 advertising sure to be ramping up soon, I guess Samsung wanted to get their enterprise offense going early while they could make the comparison to older in-market BlackBerry devices. While BlackBerry has a decade plus pedigree in enterprise and a reputation for security, Android has the exact opposite.

BlackBerry 10 makes multiple appearances in print in the New York Times

It looks like RIM may be kicking things into high gear heading up to the BlackBerry 10 launch event next month. In the DealBook section of today's New York Times there are a handful of full-page ads for the upcoming platform. The teaser ads show off the BlackBerry 10 Time Shift camera (Create the perfect shot every time), the keyboard (Fast accurate and effortless typing) and the flow of the BlackBerry Hub (Peek into the BlackBerry Hub from any app).
