What was rumored earlier this week about T-Mobile finally making WiFi Calling available to the BlackBerry Classic has become a reality. Customers using a BlackBerry Classic on T-Mobile can now check for software updates and find OS 10.3.2.2789 software release 10.3.2.2514 possibly waiting for them according to the software update page on the T-Mobile site.
Of course, as it is a new update, there's sure to be other folks out there who also want the latest and greatest OS and for those folks, the OS files have now also been posted in the CrackBerry Forums for all devices if you're wishing to manually load them using DBBT, Sachesi or wish to build your own autoloader.

Wind doesn't have it yet, but i'm not concerned. I could simply tell them i'm roaming and can't take calls. :P (or get a prepaid sim, or keep the calls short).

I don't think it will. They've pretty much said it.
That doesn't mean you can't update manually though. And thanks to what they've done recently, you'll even retain WiFi calling.

I think you're confusing WiFi for data with WiFi for calling. Until now, your calls would have gone over the cellular network for calls. Your phone would maintain a connection to the mobile network for calls/texts, even if you were using WiFi for data. Now you can turn off the mobile network and provided you have WiFi calling and its working, you can make your calls/send your texts over WiFi too.
Just finished installing it on my unlocked Verizon Z30 (STA100-3) and WiFi calling works perfectly! Zero issues so far.
When will it happen for the Passport!!!? :) patiently waiting...

You won't get the update from TMO for a Passport (unless they start selling it.) You'll have to update manually.

Thank you Tmobile. I've been waiting for this for a long time. I can now take my Classic when I travel instead of my Q10 that was stuck on 10.2.1. Now please just update the Z10, Q10, Passport and all the BlackBerry devices being used on Tmoible network so everyone can be happy. Thank you once again.

Q10, Z10, Z30, Classic and Passport have all been confirmed to work with WFC using this update. Leap and Q5 should as well. Classic is the only one currently getting it OTA. All others have to be loaded manually.

You need to install the leaked update and install through Sachesi. Only the Classic is being updated through T-Mobile from what I have experienced.

My wife's Z30 and my Passport (Unlocked), both on T-Mobile here is USA, are now updating to this! Surprise! So, everyone on T-Mo ought to be going into their phones setting and pressing check for updates! Do it! Do it Now!
I had UMA on my Torch with BB, Is it not stupid for carriers to not provide it? It reduces the time that phone calls use cellular time which one would think saves the carrier money the less number of phone calls made over cellular vs wifi.
It was a life saver one time for me, my wife was in a car wreck and the hospital doesn't allow cellular calls but I whipped out my Torch and started making phones calls via UMA to relatives.
I don't think the driving reason--at least for TMO--to support WFC was to save money (themselves or the customer.) IMO it was more about filling egregious coverage gaps. TMO has been supporting WFC since forever and have historically had the worst nationwide network. Then Sprint jumped in, and they have the worst or second worst network (depending on who you ask.) AT&T is only now getting in the game, only when they develop it alongside voLTE. Verizon hasn't announced any plans to introduce WFC, and they have the best nationwide network.

This is a carrier-supported feature and AFAIK TMO US is the only carrier in the world that supports this on BB10.

Woo-hoo, Wi-Fi Calling now on my unlocked Classic (T-Mobile SIM) after update!!! Praise the Lord, I work on occasion underground - and do not get a T-Mobile cellular signal at all - so this is awesome. Had it on my Bold - been waiting (not so) patiently for it to hit my Classic. I'm one happy dude now!

Yes, I occasionally have to work in hospital basements where no one gets signal. I have had a second phone (Nokia Lumia) for a while with wifi called when I really needed it. But over the 4th of July, I went to a place that has always had roaming signal in the past but was a big dead zone now. I had nothing for a weekend.

Yes, it seems to be. CivilDissident (a commenter before you) has a blue Classic and he has WFC working.

How did you download this? I have the AT&T Classic and want to load this software.
Two options: either grab this update from Sachesi (non-destructive update which won't wipe your phone,) or grab the autoloader (destructive, will wipe your phone.) Either case, good idea to backup your phone first.

You are exactly correct! Benefits you more when you go out of the country and international fees are too high, you can just use a nearby wifi signal to make free calls!

It depends on your carrier and plan and if they support Wi-Fi calling.
Well minutes get billed according to your domestic calling plan--that's a better way to put it. If you have unlimited domestic minutes (which everyone on TMO basically does now, as they've ended overages,) calls placed to US numbers from a WiFi network anywhere in the world will count against your domestic allowance. Calls received from anywhere in the world while on a WiFi network will count against your domestic allowance. For example, I used to have 700 minutes, so a five minute call to home on the cellular or WiFi network was five minutes deducted from 1000.
This is great for travelers and also can be used to supplement poor network coverage.
Exactly why I rely heavily on WiFi Calling... Not only do I travel abroad and enjoy being able to skip the prepaid SIM nonsense I'd otherwise have to deal with (I love just being able to board a flight and land, my phone issues no longer part of the packing endeavor... One less thing to worry about.), but also I live in a very rural area where cell phone signals of even the self-proclaimed best so not go, WFC is a life saver on this front as well... No network signal, no problem... In a store, hospital, basement, etc... If there is WFC I have calling... So convenient for me...

Correct, but you can only call another user of BBM. With TMO WiFi calling, you can call anyone.

BlackBerry 10 phones support UMA. Heck even the old Curve I had supported UMA. It's a matter of your carrier enabling it.
Well UMA as present in BBOS phones was a hardware-enabled feature, and the requisite hardware is not present in any BB10 phone. What TMO calls WiFi calling is a software based voWiFi implementation which isn't as good at handling hand-offs from WiFi to cellular, but otherwise works fine. Plus TMO US is the only carrier that still supports this on BB10. They have since 10.2.1 (or earlier.)
Strange how the Carrier who was perhaps the greatest foe, has become our greatest partner.
T Mobile sees value in BB10 and the HW it runs on. BB10 only needs Apps. The rest will follow.

They see value in BB10!?? HAHAHA!! So why has it taken them so long to get a feature on the classic that should have been there when it was released? Where is their support for the Z10 and Q10 phones they sold? As long as the manufacturer supports a mobile device, so should the carrier, yet we must still run OS 10.2.1 on the Z10 to have WiFi calling with TMO. And the WiFi calling on the Z10 is flaky. I can receive calls, but when I make calls they drop after 32-seconds. TMO performs some magic and it works again, for about 2 days. Got tired of having to constantly call them.
They show no value in BlackBerry and have little interest in supporting BlackBerry users. Once AT&T rolls out WiFi calling, I will likely move all four of my family phones...and be able to finally update our Z10's.

Actually AT&T is planning to roll out WFC, sometime this year. Whether it comes to BB phones is a separate issue, but they ARE bringing WFC.
WiFi calling already exists on AT&T as it has worked on my wife's iphone 5s for at least the last year, so either it's a regional issue - we are in the Atlanta area - or they are playing games which phones to allow to do it. I called BB a few months ago when I received my Passport and they stated it can do it, but for whatever reason AT&T is not allowing it to do so.
AT&T has it rolled out in test areas for nearly a year now. They expect to do nation wide roll out in 2016.
Believe it is working for UMA phones. Have not heard of any BlackBerry 10 phones running it yet, but iPhone 5 and 6 running iOS 8 and 9 seems to be working in the test areas.

hey its not actually tmobile fault on this one. what you need to do is delete all black berry software from your computers on your network. then reinstall the latest "link" bundle right from the website. after you install set up your bbm account and plug in your phone and let it install and set up drivers correctly. **also when you do this make sure you phone is connected to its mobile network when you connect it to the computer. if this still doesnt work theres an option to mess with your router settings with the ghost application that runs when you plug in your phone and make sure you never stop that application from start up. the problems will start over again. also the last trick i know is you media card needs to be formatted again save everything then format it from your phone and then hit the other option to set up your media card then copy everything back.
Hah! Good point. Their initial reason for getting behind voWiFi was quite self-serving though (and still is): it helps fill coverage gaps. That I can use it internationally is icing on the cake for me (the customer,) and good marketing for them.

With Tmobile WIFI Calling, you can call anybody.
