S4BB dropped me an email this morning to let me know they have updated their range of magazines available to download to the BlackBerry PlayBook. They have 24 titles to choose from so chances are there will be something in the selection that catches your eye. The magazines get their articles from various sources. This way you're ensured of having the latest information whenever you need it. The apps have an intuitive UI displaying the last 30 articles with titles and pictures, allowing you to easily pick an article to start reading.
The magazines fall into two categories. The first twelve are available for free for 30 days and after that your subscription will roll on a monthly basis at $0.99 for each title. The second batch of twelve doesn't come with the free trial so payment is required up front.
With the BlackBerry PlayBook being the perfect size for many tablet users; reading on the device feels natural. With BlackBerry 10 coming to the PlayBook soon (sort of) it may be a perfect time to consider the tablet if you have not done so yet.
If reading magazines on your PlayBook is how you roll this looks to be a nice option. I haven't actually used any of them so if you do please feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comments.
