I don't mind admitting that I'm not a case kinda guy when it comes to my BlackBerry. I like the naked feel of it, but I know most folk like to have some sort of protection from daily bumps and the occasional drop. After all, there's nothing worse than having chunks out of your beloved device - or worse case scenario a screen smash.
Luckily, the BlackBerry Flip Shell Case for the Q10 will prevent the aforementioned disasters from taking place. It's a beautifully crafted accessory with leather on both the front and back of the case and a velvet style material inside to prevent any marks or abrasions to your BlackBerry's display. It also has the famous BlackBerry magnetic magic built in, so when you open the case your screen will turn on and closing will have the opposite affect.
The actual shell of the case is made from hard plastic for extra durability and the Q10 sits tightly inside, but not too tight that it's a pain to remove. Available in both black and white the case really does feel nice in the hand - very much like a premium product. I'd say the only thing that you'll need to get used to is the flap that hangs below the device as you are typing away, but that's a small price to pay for protection.
Using the case won't hinder you from using any of the ports, media keys or the camera on the Q10 as there are cut outs for all. I was pretty impressed with the fact that there is also a hole in the front of the case so you can see your LED flashing when you get a notification - clever.

- Not as durable as the likes of an Otterbox but certainly not as bulky
Before the BlackBerry Flip Shell Case for my Q10 arrived I wasn't particularly excited about it. However, once it was on the device I soon changed my mind as it really is a beauty. I'm not saying that I will use it every day, but for certain occasions (maybe drink related) it will potentially pay for itself easily.
If you're looking for a high quality, good looking case for your Q10 give this one some serious thought.
