I've been waiting for this one since I started using my BlackBerry Passport and finally, it has arrived. Reddit In Motion has now received a massive update that brings a ton of changes to the native Reddit reader app. Thankfully, the developer has included a change log to go along with the update, so we know exactly everything that has changed.
- BlackBerry Passport support.
- New "Favorites" section in the subreddit view.
- Added Reddit gold indicator for comments and selftext posts.
- Unread message notifications are back!
- Save and unsave comments.
- Reddit links anywhere on the device can open directly into the app, and if a Reddit link is open in the browser there is a 'Open in Reddit in Motion' action.
- Comments links with underscores are encoded properly.
- Added option when composing a thread to 'send replies to inbox.'
- View full thread from a message in your inbox instead of just the context view.
- Added "open in browser" action for comments.
- Fixed text symbols in active frame.
- Additional improvements to the cache cleaner to keep the app running smoothly.
The update is live now in BlackBerry World so you should be seeing it under your 'My Apps' section. If you've never given Reddit In Motion a go, check out the latest version and see if you like it. It's free!
