If you remember a few months back, we took a look at a new application for the BlackBerry PlayBook called ReadOnTouch Pro. Today, we’re going to take another quick look. ReadOnTouch Pro has been updated to version 3.0. The new version takes what you’ve loved about this application and amps it up.
New features in 3.0
- Added preview mode! (Important: you should clear all local data via preferences and sync again)
- Optimized sync process
Fixed in 3.0
- Image download should now work properly
ReadOnTouch Pro allows you to take the best of the internet on the go. With the help of the online service called Pocket (from GetPocket.com), users of this application will be able to bookmark articles while on their desktop or laptop and have them sent to their BlackBerry PlayBook. The application is definitely handy for those looking to keep up on tech blogs, but don’t always have an internet connection on their PlayBook, or the time to sit at a computer. ReadOnTouch Pro is available in BlackBerry App World for $1.99. I definitely recommend checking this app out. I’ve been using it for the past few months and wouldn’t go back.
