Japan has recently seen a bit of praise with an App World update allowing the purchase of paid applications, but an important milestone is soon to be reached as the very first BlackBerry Curve smartphone makes its way to the land of sushi and haiku poetry. BlackBerry smartphones to date have seen very little of Japan; only the BlackBerry Bold is available in the country through official channels. Of course, preceding the revolutionary mark of the 9000 series of BlackBerry smartphones, the Japanese did get to play with the BlackBerry 8707 back in 2006. Times are changing, though, they indeed are.
The predominant mobile phone operator in Japan, no other than NTT DOCOMO that is, will have the great honor to introduce the BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphone to the Japanese folk. Initially available in Graphite Gray only, this historical step shall hopefully mean the expanding of the BlackBerry Curve brand name, as well as more BlackBerry smartphone models finding their way paddling across the Pacific Ocean. With BlackBerry 6 around the corner, the BlackBerry Curve 3G will definitely be a great option beside the currently available BlackBerry Bold 9700. Excited? I sure am, and December it is you are looking forward to. Do not forget! Domo arigato, Taeho-san, for letting me know about this!

Google will pay you a measly $1.50 a week to track EVERYTHING on your phone
Google already tracks a lot of your data, whether you want them to or not. But for a mere pittance they'll track even more of it! Why? All so they can better sell ads to put in front of your face. Cooooooool.
