Many of us have rather busy lifestyles, and trying to keep up on a work out routine while constantly on the go can be quite a daunting task. Back in August while at the BBM Hackathon event I got to spend a few minutes sitting down with Michael of Nickelbuddy and we got to learn a bit more about them. At the time it was just a concept, one that had lots of ideas stemming from it, but none of them yet integrated, and today it is now available in AppWorld. The concept of the application is quite simple, taking your workouts on the go with you allows you to keep up with them more actively, and sharing workouts with your friends takes them to another level.
Once the application is launched you can design a workout, begin the workout, complete it, all without the need of any special equipment. The application has BBM integration so it will update your status once you have begun the workout, and will allow friends to view your workout and they can see how far you are, and exactly what you have done. If you see a friend doing a routine but can't join them at that moment you can simply save the routine for later, and complete it at a later time. Looking for some extra motivation to get your work outs kick started? Check out My Fitness Friends and grab a friend, make a challenge with eachother and get to moving!
