I love playing games on my BlackBerry PlayBook (when I can get it away from my kids). I have a wide assortment but the latest one that's holding my attention is Drop or Fall. This game, by Modern Alchemists, is your basic falldown game with a lot of extras. Tilt your device from side to side to keep the character rolling. There are four themes with different challenges. No matter which theme you choose, you're sure to be entertained.
This game is pretty easy and simple to play. The graphics are smooth with no lag that I can see and have a slight 3D effect. On the main screen you can purchase extra items, choose your theme and view your coin count or high high score. To pause the game, simply swipe the bezel in any direction or double tap the screen. By "liking" the Facebook page of the game you can get free coins as well as more free coins every time you open the game. There are little extras like the "Heavy Burden" that makes your ball less bouncy so you can easily navigate through the platforms, save yourself with the cute "Ghost" that get's you to the bottom and the "Sand of Time" that slows the speed of the platforms movement. All are well worth the extra coinage to obtain them. This isn't the first game of it's kind nor do I think it'll be the last but with all the cute characters and fun upgrades, it's sure to be one of my faves for a long time. Simple concept, simple game but a whole lot of fun. Drop or Fall is available for the BlackBerry PlayBook in App World for $0.99.
