We mentioned a while ago that Modern Combat 4 had hit BlackBerry 10 and that was shortly followed by its arrival on the BlackBerry PlayBook. I'm a huge fan of the series and although I've been playing it on my Z10 I prefer to play this type of game on a bigger screen so I had to download it for the PlayBook too.
If you have played any of the previous versions, on any platform, you know that you are going to get a truly fantastic gaming experience and Modern Combat 4 is no different. The graphics and sound effects are supurb and it runs like a dream on the PlayBook.
Controls wise things are much the same as before, You have a virtual joypad on the left of the screen and you can use your other thumb to pan around. We also get the crouch tab, a run tab and of course the fire and cross hair buttons. Various weapons can be picked up along the way and these are shown at the top right of the screen. You can switch weapons just by swiping the tab.
The better you do the more cash you will earn which you can spend in the shop. I tend to spend most of mine on grenades as they come in jolly handy but there is a selection of items to buy.
If you like action packed combat style games this is the one to get and at only $0.99 you won't find a better game for that price.
Head on over to BlackBerry World on your PlayBook to pick this one up or if you want it for your Z10 click the link below from your device.

Race your way to top with Top Speed: Drag & Fast Racing
While there may be quite a few car racing games available in the storefront, there is always room for one more, at least in my opinion.
