The rumor mill is buzzing once again and it looks like CSI Enterprises and MasterCard are teaming up to bring some mobile payment goodness to BlackBerry smartphones. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 should be launching in the next few months (please RIM get on with it already!) and will be sporting NFC for the first time on a BlackBerry. The CSI Virtual MasterCard app hopes to take advantage by letting GlobalVCard holders use their NFC-enabled device to make payments on the go. The app is scheduled to release in July, so hopefully they know something we don't (like an official launch date) and aren't just pushing out the app before the device hits the market. Pretty cool stuff here and hopefully much more NFC fun to follow down the road.
