No, sorry folks it's not for the BlackBerry Bold 9700 but, it's still a treat for those out there that have a BlackBerry Curve 3G (9330). OS 6.0.0.280 has just dropped and while it's not an official OS it's still nice to see it. Be sure to back up your data before you load this one up folks and of course, be sure to post any feedback.

Official OS 6.0.0.600 released by GCI for the BlackBerry Curve 9330 and BlackBerry Style 9670
Some more official carrier OS' have been updated, this time around the BlackBerry Curve 9330 and BlackBerry Style 9670 are getting the love. If you own either devices, you'll likely just want to ahead and load these up rather then waiting for your specific carrier to update. Just remember, make sure you delete the vendor.xml file first and you'll be good to go. Download OS 6.0.0.600...

Verizon updating BlackBerry Bold 9650 and BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 this month?
Sure seems that way when looking at a piece of documentation found over at Android Central. We're not sure if it will be a rollout of BlackBerry 6 or not at this point but the BlackBerry Bold 9650 will be moved into a MR3 release while the BlackBerry Curve 3G will be hitting MR1. New BlackBerry 6 device simulators now available for the Bold 9650 and Curve 3G 9330
While it may not mean much to many folks in terms of usefulness, BlackBerry developers out there can now download the new BlackBerry 6 device simulators for the BlackBerry Bold 9650 and BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330. One could speculate that with their release, a BlackBerry 6 OS release for the same devices cannot be that far off but we don't really want to create any false hope for anyone....
