So you downloaded the latest BlackBerry Launcher and have been using it, but did you know it also includes two new icon packs? If you did, you can skip this. If you didn't, well, here's how you can activate them on your Android-powered BlackBerry. Keep in mind, this update hasn't been sent to all devices yet but has appeared on some KEYones. You can keep checking Google Play for the update.
How to Enable The BB10 or BB7 Icon Packs
While using the BlackBerry Launcher, tap and hold on the home screen, then tap Icon Packs.
You'll be presented with a list of any installed icon packs. Tap the one you want to use, then tap SET to finish.
When you return to the home screen you'll see your apps have a fresh coat of paint with new icons. Personally, for the BB10 icon pack, I prefer to use Icon Pack 10 from the Google Play Store over the BlackBerry Launcher included BB10 pack, but to each their own. As for the BB7 icons, well, they're great for nostalgia but a few of them have been made 'new' for better or worse. Variety is the spice of life.
