Over the years we've seen Kim Kardashian sporting many BlackBerry devices but, for the most part, those devices have always been from the Bold series. Bold 9000, Bold 9700, Bold 9900 - she's had them all at one point or another. Speaking with Kara Swisher during the Code/Mobile conference put on by Re/Code, Kim let it be known that even though she uses an iPhone and she has a BlackBerry Passport she's never even turned on, the BlackBerry Bold remains her favorite device.
Why? Because it's easier to type out angry emails. She even goes so far as to purchase devices on eBay, using them until they break. During the interview she said 'I use an older one, though. They don't have them in stores anymore. I buy them on eBay. I have three lined up in my room so if they break. If one breaks and I'm down to two, I search on eBay until I have my third. I have anxiety I'll run out. It's my heart and soul. I love it, and I'll never get rid of it.'
I don't think she has to worry about BlackBerry running out of devices, but she might want to actually turn on that BlackBerry Passport. It's insanely awesome for typing out angry emails as well. As for a Bold replacement, well maybe she'll find love in the BlackBerry Classic. To me, the Classic is a Bold for a new age, where the Q10 was slightly off.
