Similar to emails sent out from Yahoo, Rogers has now started informing customers with Rogers Yahoo email accounts using BlackBerry 10 or older of important changes coming to how they connect to their accounts that need to be followed before December 19.

Re-authenticate your Rogers Yahoo Mail

Improving your email experience is as important to us as it is to you. BlackBerry and Yahoo are updating the way that you connect your Rogers Yahoo Mail to your BlackBerry 10 or 7 device.

What this means for you:

You will need to remove the existing mail profile from your BlackBerry device and create a new one. If you do not do this by December 19, 2018, you will receive an error message and will not be able to access your email from your device.

Aside from emailing the notification to customers, Rogers also set up a full guide on how to re-authenticate your account which you can view here or read through below to ensure your emails continue to work. As this guide only deals with Rogers Yahoo email accounts, you can check out our full Yahoo guide right here, which covers other providers such as AT&T, SBC Global, and Verizon.
