One of the apps that is always open as an Active Frame on my BlackBerry 10 device is iGrann Pro. Today a small, but welcomed, update is rolling out and although the improvements are not huge, it's nice to see yet another update from the developer.

With BlackBerry 10 being over two years old now it's pretty safe to say that Instagram won't be bringing a native client to our platform anytime soon. That's not the end of the world as we have a few third party options, with iGrann being the most functional at the time of publishing this article.

So if you're an iGrann Pro user hit up BlackBerry World and do a manual search for the update if it doesn't get pushed to your Hub.

New in version

  • Improved performance

  • UI refresh

  • Bug fixes

If you've not tried iGrann yet you'll be pleased to hear that there is also a free version, so you can try before you buy. The Pro edition will set you back a couple of bucks but it's well worth it if you need to use Instagram on your BlackBerry.
