The BlackBerry KEY2 follows the same method of taking a screenshot as other Android-based BlackBerry devices. Very simply, this involves pressing the volume down key and the power key at the same time. It can be used on any screen to capture whatever is displayed as a separate image file. That image file can then be saved for later reference or shared with others.
How to take a screenshot on the BlackBerry KEY2
- Find the Power and Volume Down buttons
- Press & hold both buttons at the same time
- Find the screen capture in the notifications tray
- Tap share to reveal sending options, you can also find the screenshot saved in the Photos app
If you need to remove personal data from your screenshots, you can always make use of the BlackBerry Privacy Shade app which includes a Redactor tool that allows you to hide information on your screen before sharing with others.
