Android Pay is a virtual wallet that lets you store your credit and debit cards and use them to make purchases as NFC-enabled terminals. Rather than using your physical card, you simply hold your phone near the terminal to pay for your purchase. It's quick and easy and only takes a few minutes to setup!
How to Setup Android Pay on the BlackBerry KEYone
If you haven't already, download Android Pay from the Google Play Store.
Turn on NFC by going to Settings > More > NFC and tapping the toggle to enable NFC.
Open the Android Pay app and follow the setup instructions. You may need to enable a PIN, password or pattern if you haven't already.
To add a card to Android Pay, tap the + on the bottom right, then choose the card type.
Use the camera to capture the card info, or enter it manually. If asked to verify the card, choose a method from the provided list and then enter the code you receive. Keep in mind that in some cases you may need to verify by calling your bank or using your bank's app
To make a payment using Android Pay, simply unlock your device and hold it next to a compatible payment terminal. Your device will vibrate and you'll see a confirmation if the payment was successful.
Android Pay is an extremely useful tool as it allows you to pay using just your phone. Granted, it won't work at every terminal, but it's becoming more widely adopted around the world. You can add multiple credit and debit cards, as well as loyalty and gift cards, helping to keep you organized and slim down your wallet!
