One of the unique features included on the BlackBerry KEY2 LE is the ability to clone supported apps so that you can maintain, for example, personal and professional accounts. As it stands, out of the box, the app cloning feature supports Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, and WeChat. Cloning apps on the device KEY2 LE easy, here's how!
How to clone apps on the BlackBerry KEY2 LE
- Install a supported app from the Google Play Store.
- Press and hold on the chosen app.
- Drag app icon to the top of the display where it says 'Clone'
- Once 'Edit App Appearance' box appears, name the app, and tap save.
Keep in mind, some accounts such as WhatsApp require different phone numbers and those accounts are only supported on dual-SIM variants, but once the process is completed, you're all set. The app has been cloned and you can log in with any given account you have.
Should you wish to uninstall the cloned app at any time, you can press and hold on the icon and simply drag the icon to the uninstall button at the top of your display. Additionally, you can go to Settings>Dual Apps to clone or disable apps.
