Out of the box, every BlackBerry KEYone has a set of LED lights enabled on the fingerprint sensor. It's cool that they're there as it helps you find the fingerprint sensor at times and acts as security indicator by letting you know when apps are interacting with the fingerprint sensor but it's far from a crucial addition to the KEYone. Have you ever wanted to disable them? I'm sure a few of you have and with the latest KEYone update rolling out you can!
How to adjust the fingerprint sensor LED lights on the BlackBerry KEYone
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification shade.
- Tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
- Scroll and find Security.
- Select Fingerprint.
- Use the Optimize fingerprint LED slider
From there, you can adjust the setting as you see fit. You can turn the brightness all the way up, have it barely on, or just disable it entirely. It's a small feature that was never there until the latest update and one of those things you might miss without it being specifically pointed out to you. Now, go forth with new knowledge, master of LED lights!
