Each year at this time, we gather around carving pumpkins, collecting candy, and choosing our costumes. Halloween is almost here and what better way to celebrate it than with a spooky Halloween game to keep you or your child busy.
Halloween Match is a fun, simple, and, of course, easy to play match 3 game. Similar to the developers previous release, Breakfast Saga, instead of arranging different types of breakfast treats to create combinations of three or more, you are playing with spooky bats, skulls, pumpkins, spiderwebs and even Dracula himself makes an appearance. Tiles may be swapped vertically, diagonally, and horizontally, to achieve the desired effect but as of now the only mode of play is survival mode. Here you have a set amount of time with which to make as many matches as you can.
As with the prior match games, there are controls to pause, restart, and adjust the volume level. Players must also avoid obstacles that appear such as the white halos that block your view when trying to swap tiles. They last for only a short time but prevent you from making important moves thereby losing time. To help you clear the board, there are bombs that do appear from time to time.
This is a fun little game that everyone can enjoy. Nothing like having a Halloween theme to help jumpstart the festivities. It offers a smooth interface, is entertaining, is great for passing the time, and is $0.99 for BlackBerry 10.
Right now my highest score is 761 so let us know how well you fare in the comments below.

Brain Coach - Have you got the skills to beat it?
Even if your initial thoughts are that playing Brain Coach is not your thing, you may well be surprised. We've seen one or two BlackBerry 10 games that are designed to test your brain, and this one does it better than the others I've previously tried. Race your way to top with Top Speed: Drag & Fast Racing
While there may be quite a few car racing games available in the storefront, there is always room for one more, at least in my opinion. The latest release from Thunderbull Entertainment is certainly a drag racing game filled with action, stunning visuals, and customization. As someone who spent the better part of her youth playing racing games, albeit with those clunky wheel attachments...
