One interesting app I found at BlackBerry Jam Asia was FlockMe. These guys are trying to make something of a social event matchmaking service on BlackBerry 10. Users connect their Facebook account, and based on their interests, are presented with events happening around them so they can meet like-minded people.
The goal here isn't so much dating (though that use case is still pretty obvious) but more about meeting new people in a larger group setting. This can be perfect for those that are new to town without much of a social network of their own, or even those that are looking to branch out a bit from their usual circles.
It's a neat idea, though it will really need a critical mass of usership to really take off. What do you guys think - is this something you would use if you were moving to a new city? FlockMe will be landing in BlackBerry World in the next 3-4 weeks, so keep an eye out.
