A few months ago we took a look at some great alternatives to Words with Friends for BlackBerry Smartphones, and one of the alternatives was Fightin' Words. At the time there was only a paid option, but the developer has let us know that they have since recently released a free version of the application and dropped the price of the paid version down to only 99cents. That's less than a dollar, what else can you buy with that now-a-days? Beyond the free and paid BlackBerry applications there is also a free Android version, so the application can play cross platform, allowing you to better connect and play with friends and family all over.
