Although this isn't exactly something for your BlackBerry but rather for Mac or Windows PC, it's certainly worth a mention because after all, it is BlackBerry related. The folks at Feral Interactive have now released on Steam and through the Mac App Store, F1 2013 for Mac. If you ever wanted to get behind the wheel of the F1 Mercedes AMG Petronas and do your best Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg impression this is one sure way to make that happen.
Features include Career Mode, which recreates the 2013 season in its entirety, Grand Prix mode, which lets you create custom championships, and Scenario Mode, which offers 20 challenges inspired by real Formula 1 racing situations. Multiplayer is supported as well (16 player cross-platform via SteamPlay, Mac App Store is limited to split-screen offline mode only).
In addition to all of that, the game is available in two variants: a Standard Edition and a "Classic Edition," which includes six 1990s-era cars from the Ferrari and Williams teams and legendary drivers Damon Hill and Michael Schumacher. Two additional tracks are included, as well: Imola (San Marino) and Estoril (Portugal).
The final pre-season 2014 testing took place in Bahrain on Sunday, with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton clocking in a best time of 1m 33.278s in the new Mercedes F1 W05. The 2014 Formula 1 season opens with the Rolex Australian Grand Prix on March 16 and we've got some F1 stuff planned for you guys throughout the whole season. Until then though, you can enjoy the F1 2013 game through the links below, if that tickles your fancy.
