2013 was a crazy year for BlackBerry. BlackBerry 10 launched to start off the year we got a few new devices, plenty of great apps, and rounded out the year with a fresh raft of corporate drama and a new CEO. We're not quite sure what 2014 will bring for BlackBerry as a company, but we do know that we'll see some more great apps and games from the faithful developer community.

2013 gave us some great offerings. We got your help to nominate your favorites and after putting those finalists to a vote the results were tallied we had over 70,000 votes. Now we crown the winners as CrackBerry's Best of 2013!

The first BlackBerry 10 device landed at the start of the year and never slowed down.

The best messaging service around still remains the favorite for yet another year.

Documents To Go

There aren't too many options for BlackBerry users when it comes to editing docs on the fly, but Documents To Go deserves to be the best.

Star Tracker

It's one of the youngest apps on our winners list, but StarTracker's great design and function get it a well deserved win.

FastTube

There are plenty of YouTube apps for BlackBerry devices, but FastTube proves that it does what it does better than the rest.

Endomondo

Sports apps are a dime a dozen it seems, but Endomondo still holds the crown for being better than the rest.

THE BEST MUSIC OR AUDIO APP OF 2013

SoundHound

One of our favorite apps to hit BlackBerry 10 - SoundHound is the app you don't realize you want until you need to use it. It's sporting a great UI and is dead simple to use -- for that it gets the win.

Everyone loves Facebook, but now more than ever, people love BBM too. Since hitting iOS and Android in October, BBM hasn't slowed down and now proves that it's the best of the best when it comes to communication.

Angry Birds

It's not hard to see how such a simple and addictive game can be such a hit. The original Angry Birds is still a favorite amongst BlackBerry users.

World of Goo

This quirky hit took BlackBerry by storm this year and quickly became a favorite for gamers.

Real Racing 3

Real Racing 3 shows was a great gaming platform BlackBerry can be. It has great audio, amazing graphics and endless replay value.

Modern Combat 4

Shooters aren't the best on BlackBerry, but Modern Combat 4 stood tall to take the crown.

Still one of our overall favorite games, Radiant Defense was all over BlackBerry this year and remains a top hit to round out 2013.
