Note: Don't forget, you can always search for titles featured in the App Roundup within App World... Some apps mentioned may be available there for your device.

Freebies of the Week:

Free Juicy Berry

Free Juicy Berry

Free Juicy Berry is a small app that contains a memory management tool, video flashlight, voicemail shortcut, message composition shortcuts, and more. Nothing major here for sure, but you might want to give it a look for yourself. All that is required here is OS 4.2.1 or newer. It's compatible with all current model BlackBerry devices, including the Storm series. For all the details, check it out in our store.

Family Feud Demo

Family Feud for BlackBerry

One of the most classic game shows out there, 'Family Feud' is available now in App World. While the full version will run you $6.99, a demo version with limited features is available. Sadly, the likeness of Richard Dawson isn't used in the game... But if you get out of this one-of-a-kind gameshow, the demo is worth a spin.

SURVEY SAYS: Try it out!

In Case You Missed It...

Just in case you missed these titles, below are some apps that were covered in the CrackBerry Blogs this past week. Check 'em out!

Engadget App for BlackBerry

Engadget App for BlackBerry

If you enjoy tech news as much as the other guy, Engadget has long been a great place to go to get your daily dose. Already having launched a webOS and iPhone mobile app, I had wondered when a version would be available for BlackBerry. Thankfully, earlier this week that's just what happened... A new version for BlackBerry has been released, and you can use it to get your fill of everything tech.

Viper SmartStart

Viper SmartStart for BlackBerry

How cool is this. Want to lock or unlock your doors, pop your trunk, or sound your car alarm, all from your BlackBerry? You'll be able to do all this and more, thanks to the Viper SmartStart App, coming soon to App World. The app is already available for iPhone, and honestly, it looks great. The app itself will be free for BlackBerry, but the hardware required will set you back more than $300. Following your first year of service you'll also need to fork over $30 per year, but chances are once you get hooked on this one, you'll gladly pay the fee.

Legend Viewer Looking for Beta Testers

Legend Viewer Looking for Beta Testers

Earlier in the week, developer Kenny Ho from Dynamic Legend contacted us in need of some help. His new app 'Legend Viewer' is a location-based clipboard that allows users to create a 'legend' of sorts on the web, and then bring that information along with them on their Berry. Kenny gives a better description:

My app is called Legend Viewer and here's a quick summary of what it does.  It is a time- and location-based mobile clipboard that lets people bring their information with them on their smartphone and access it based on their contexts.  User can create a Legend (like a legend on a map) on their computer over the web and bring it with them on their BlackBerry.

You can think of this as a much simpler version of Evernote but with a map.  Or you can think of this as a DIY local search.  (There are some excellent local search database out there but it will never have the information about my cousin's wedding or information about my friend's party.)

To try Legend Viewer out for yourself, hit up dynamiclegend.com/load/legendviewer from your Berry's browser. For more information, visit dynamiclegend.com. Be sure to let Kenny and the team over at Dynamic Legend if you encounter any issues or bugs with the app.

Blood Sugar Diary

Blood Sugar Diary

This week I thought I'd touch on a Health and Wellness app that could really benefit a lot of folks out there... Built specifically for those suffering from Diabetes, the Blood Sugar Diary from EFRAC is designed to help you manage the condition. Enter blood glucose readings as often as you like, and the app will display charts and a history of entered values. You can even enter readings before a meal, and then after a meal, and the app will display a chart with two different lines for easy comparison. All charts can be exported to the pictures folder, or you can export the readings to a CSV.

For more information, check out the Blood Sugar Diary app in App World. To purchase you'll need to lay down $7.99.
