In the U.K., Carphone Warehouse had exclusivity in stocking the BlackBerry Priv, outside of Shop BlackBerry. That short run exclusivity has now come to an end and the Priv is now available from online retailer, Unlocked Mobiles.
During a CES 2016 presentation, BlackBerry executive Ron Louks stated that news on the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for BlackBerry Priv will be revealed sometime later in the first quarter of 2016.
BlackBerry CEO John Chen confirmed during a presentation at CES 2016 that the Android-based BlackBerry Priv would soon be offered by Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint, following AT&T's 60-day exclusive for the smartphone.

BlackBerry has also cut the price on the Passport and Passport Silver edition.
