In the lead up to IFA, we were teased something special from BlackBerry Mobile and now, TCL has revealed that the BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition is coming to markets in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

The BlackBerry QNX Digital Instrument Cluster platform was announced back in June, 2016 to allow cars to have features like turn-by-turn directions, local speed limits, rearview camera video and collision warnings and fulfill demand for hybrid and fully digital instrument clusters. Since then, QNX has been hosting plenty of webinars highlighting the technology and a new webinar is now set for October 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM EDT.

This could be the first glimpse of the BlackBerry 'Krypton'

By now, it's no secret TCL has more BlackBerry smartphones in the works. The device known as 'Krypton' has passed through the Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance and FCC already and according to François Mahieu, head of global sales for TCL, the full-touch device is expected to arrive at some point in October. Still, despite all of that information, the 'Krypton' has eluded being caught on camera, mostly. A recently posted image offers up what could be the first glimpse of the next BlackBerry.

BlackBerry KEYone will officially be available in Russia soon!

Two years after BlackBerry shut down their offices in Russia, the brand will once again be available to Russian customers by way of the KEYone. Although the finalized release date still seems to be up in the air, our friends at BlackBerries.ru are expecting an event to take place somewhere near the end of September to address the finer details.
