In a brief press release issued today, BlackBerry has announced Bryan Palma has decided to leave his role at the company as President and Chief Operating Officer to pursue other oppurtunities.

Palma was appointed to the role of President and Chief Operating Officer reporting directly to BlackBerry CEO John Chen back in January following nearly 20 years' experience working with Cisco, Boeing, Hewlett Packard, PepsiCo, and the United States Secret Service.

No replacement has been announced at this time. Instead, BlackBerry IoT Business will report directly to John Chen, Executive Chairman and CEO.
