The begining of the week saw the third birthday of BlackBerry App World. Although there wasn't any big celebrations (as everyone at RIM is hard at work on BB10) you can find a Happy Birthday BlackBerry App World folder in the carosel in App World. Along with that it seems that another country as been added to the App World roster. BlackBerry App World is currently available in over 160 countries and now Brunei has been added to the growing list of countries that can now enjoy App World and get access to over 70,000 apps. BlackBerry App World is Now Available in Brunei 

Brunei Darussalam - Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced that BlackBerry App WorldTM, the official app store for BlackBerry® smartphones, is now available for customers in Brunei.

With today's announcement, customers in Brunei can now easily discover, download, manage, and enjoy a wide range of mobile applications available for their BlackBerry smartphone. BlackBerry smartphone users around the world download more than 6 million apps per day from BlackBerry App World and there are over 70,000 apps in the catalog today.

  • Categories: BlackBerry App World features a variety of application categories, including entertainment, IM and social networking, news, weather, productivity and more.
  • QR Barcode Scanning: Users can scan a QR code associated with an app. BlackBerry App World can then quickly find the related app and automatically open the app's details and download screen.
  • Reviews: Apps can be reviewed by users and those reviews are reflected in star ratings. Users can read reviews, see screenshots and read a description of each app before they download it.

Simple Application Management:
