The BlackBerry Secure World Tour kicks off this Thursday in San Francisco

Back in February, BlackBerry announced they would be hosting BlackBerry Secure World Tour events for North America, Europe, and Australia starting in May and running through June and the first stop is this Thursday in San Francisco. The events, designed for CIOs, CSOs and business leaders, is a chance to hear from BlackBerry execs, technology and security experts and various industry leaders.

The mobile workforce has emerged as one of the most significant productivity advancements of modern time, unleashing a frontier of opportunities across evolving applications and devices. But the business benefits come with a significant price: organizations must now manage large volumes of vulnerabilities introduced by a growing landscape of fluid endpoints. Simply put, enabling the workforce to share data -- confidentially and reliably – is now a mission-critical business priority, and leaving these bases uncovered poses significant risks to the organization. With so much at stake, key questions remain for today's enterprises:

  • As the enterprise device and app population spreads across unmanaged devices, desktops and wearables, how can organizations leverage them while mitigating risks?
  • With more devices tapping productivity resources like Office Online, Skype, and OneDrive, how are security platforms evolving to safeguard them?
  • As mobile-enabled workflows and shared files become more essential, what technologies will ensure they're used securely?
  • How can organizations develop a holistic strategy to solve for these organizational challenges?

Join us on the BlackBerry Secure World Tour for "Empowering the Securely Connected Workforce," a one-day, immersive conference -- where you'll get an up-to-the-minute view of today's challenges and opportunities.
