Despite earlier confirmations from BlackBerry that OS 10.3.3 would be released in March, BlackBerry CEO John Chen noted today on the BlackBerry Q4 Fiscal 2016 Earnings Call that the date for its release has now moved to mid-June pending technical acceptance for the NIAP certification.
Not going to sugarcoat this one, it's a bit disappointing that it seems to be taking this long considering the OS has been popping up all over the place, but alas, it really is a bit out of BlackBerry's hands as well as they have to meet the certification requirements before it can be rolled out.
In related news, BlackBerry CEO John Chen once again confirmed BlackBerry 10.3.4 stating that OS has been scheduled for late fiscal year 2017, early fiscal year 2018 (That's late 2016, early 2017 for those confused by fiscal years) release but there was no mention of changes it may bring.
