As expected, thanks to the heads up from the beta releases, BlackBerry has now started rolling out the September Android security patch update for Priv and DTEK50 owners. Keep in mind, the updates start with ShopBlackBerry, Amazon and otherwise factory unlocked devices. If you purchased your device from a carrier, then you are reliant upon their update schedule.
If you're looking for the full rundown of the security bulletin, you can head on over to the BlackBerry Knowledge Base where it has been posted for your viewing pleasure. If you are not already seeing the update, you can head into Settings, then About phone and then from there, System Updates.
