If you have been putting off purchasing a new BlackBerry KEYone or BlackBerry Motion waiting for further details about the BlackBerry Trade-In program to arrive, we now have an idea of what it will look like. Starting with Germany, those interested in trading in their devices can visit the trade-in site and get €50 cashback.
If you purchase a new BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition, BlackBerry KEYone Silver, or BlackBerry Motion during the promotion period and then return your legacy device (Android, BlackBerry 10, BlackBerry Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, and Windows), you will receive a $50 reward as cashback. Customers can register their new BlackBerry Device up to and including 30.05.2018.
As with any trade-in offer, there is a set of terms and conditions you must follow but overall, the process seems fairly straightforward. Purchase a BlackBerry KEYone or BlackBerry Motion within the time promo period, register it on the site. Once registered and verified you'll be mailed a shipping package to send in your old device. Within a week of getting your old device, you'll get €50 cashback. You will want to read those terms and conditions for the full process.
At this point, it's hard to say if it's going to be the same offer across the board given this one is specifically for Germany, but hopefully it won't be long before the promo sites go up in other areas for folks to take advantage of. Will you be trading in old devices? Let us know in the comments!
