Birds of Prey, the latest movie from the DC Extended Universe featuring Harley Quinn, who is joined by Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya, hits theatres today and is predicted to take over the box office this weekend. I've been excited about seeing this movie since the first trailer was released. Still, something I missed in the latest trailer was a spotting of the BlackBerry KEYone that appears at 1:18 and according to Reddit, it's featured throughout the movie.
While the time for product placement has undoubtedly passed, it's still always exciting and sometimes amusing to see where BlackBerry smartphones pop-up and the vast array of devices used. In a lot of cases, it's BlackBerry OS devices, but more recent shows and movies like Homeland and Gemini Man feature more modern BlackBerry smartphones such as the KEYone and BlackBerry KEY2.
Have you spotted any BlackBerry smartphones recently in TV shows or movies? If so, let me know in the comments where and what device it was. Let me know as well if you'll be taking in Birds of Prey.
