The BlackBerry Keyboard app has had several beta releases over the past few weeks, and today, BlackBerry has decided to roll out another one with a handful of improvements and one seemingly odd feature removal.
What's New
- For KEY2: Removed the swipe down gesture to bring up the Symbol screen
- Improved handling of punctuation when backspacing to undo auto-correction
- Improvements in Japanese and Hindi input
- Stability fixes
The stability fixes, improvements to punctuation and languages are all great to see but why the removal of the wipe down gestures for the symbol screen on the KEY2? Given it's a beta release, I guess we'll have to see if it also gets removed from the official release once available.
