The latest BlackBerry KEY2 software update has now started to roll out across North America. Noted as build number ACB168, this release covers all the Android security patches for August from Google including fixes for the QualPwn vulnerability. It's a small update, coming in at around 90MB. You can check this list to see if it has appeared for your variant yet, or go ahead and check for updates.
- Go to Settings
- Go to System
- Tap on System Updates
- Check for updates
Keep in mind, updates are rolled out by device variant, so if you do not see it yet, you'll have to sit tight, and if you purchased your device from a carrier, you're bound to their update schedule instead. Not patient enough to wait and can handle loading it your self? The autoloader is being uploaded right now.
