For those of you looking for yet another sign a successor to the KEYone is on the way, look no further than the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG, which have now both passed certifications for the device. As always, there's not a ton of new info that can be gleaned from the certifications but it shows things are progressing along nicely and we should hear more soon.
As a reminder, rumors are calling for the BlackBerry KEY2 to bring a Snapdragon 660, 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage out of the gate and it features a new dual-camera setup as shown in earlier leaked renders.
Of course, through the render leaks, things have changed visually so it's also possible some specs may have changed since the initial rumors as well considering the Bluetooth docs show they've seemingly gone through 9 different hardware revisions.
