As expected even before heading into CES 2018, autonomous vehicle technology has been a hot topic on the showroom floor and in keynotes and BlackBerry's QNX software technology is at the heart of a lot of it. With the showroom floor open, Cheddar CEO Jon Steinberg had the opportunity to speak with BlackBerry Chief Marketing Officer Mark Wilson about how its technology is powering autonomous vehicle technology.
#Autonomous cars are hot at #CES2018 & their safety depends on cybersecurity. #BlackBerry CMO Mark Wilson talks with @cheddarlive about how BlackBerry enables the autonomously-driven future by securing all of the endpoints in and out of the car. https://t.co/n5GnnLQCtC— BlackBerry News (@BlackBerryNews) January 10, 2018
In addition to the interview, BlackBerry QNX also posted a new video on their YouTube page highlighting software challenges of building autonomous vehicles. Between the videos, you get a pretty great look at what BlackBerry QNX is doing in the area as well as a pretty thorough rundown of their accomplishments over the past year as such as signing deals with Baidu, Denso, NVIDIA and more!
