With Vodafone recently showing a sneak peak of the BlackBerry Bold 9900, it is only natural that other carriers follow along - this time it is SFR to introduce the BlackBerry Bold 9900 in France. And to top it off, SFR has also announced the upcoming availability of the BlackBerry PlayBook!
No details on release date or pricing, but it is fair to estimate that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 will retail for what the BlackBerry Torch did when it was released. The BlackBerry PlayBook on the other hand will likely go for 479€, as in the Netherlands. As both the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry PlayBook find their ways to other countries and markets, it is probably a safe bet to say that this is just the beginning of a new era for RIM.
